PAST Productions

Everyone's history tells a different story.  Below is our Bruce County Playhouse's short but fulfilling history.  Many wonderful people have helped us along the way.  Thank you to all!  Here we go, let's start at the the very beginning... T'was the summer of 2015...

Summer of 2023

2023 was an excellent year! We book ended a Comedy thriller with two great Comedies! 

Summer of 2022

Well we won't dicuss the missed few seasons... All we'll say is Boooooo COVID!

Anyway, back to work. This year we enjoyed two great shows featuring some very funny talent. What a great welcome back after being locked up in our homes for toooo long!

Summer of 2019

Some firsts this season... Our first 3-show season and our first very successful MUSICAL! We opened the season with the halarious "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Aridged", then had a amazingly talented group of ladies perform "Nunsense The Musical!", and capped the summer off with the Canadian Classic "The Drawer Boy". Thank you all for coming out to enjoy this season of wonderful theatre!

Summer of 2018

 What a crazy ride! John Buchan's The 39 Steps was a huge success bringing out record numbers of patrons while Norm Foster's Storm Warning brought many tear from laughter.  What a great Season!

Summer of 2017

Our third season brought us Norm Foster's, The Ladies Foursome.  As well we were excited to see Hockey Mom Hockey Dad, by Michael Melski.

Summer of 2016

For our Second season we found a new home in the Southampton Town Hall.  We also added a second show to the line up. Norm Foster started us off with The Love List. Then to round out the season we saw Shirley Valentine by Willy Russell.

Summer of 2015

Our inaugural season introduced Bruce County Playhouse to Saugeen Shores with Caroline Smith's The Kitchen Witches.  We performed in Port Elgin at Maple Hall.
