The Kitchen Witches by Caroline Smith:
DOLLY BIDDLE: (able to play 50's) An energetic and fun loving local  cable-access cooking show host. She loves life and loves snacks even though they may not be the best for her health. She loves giving out recipes for borscht and cabbage rolls and hates rival cooking show host Isobel Lomax with a passion.
We are holding local as well as Toronto auditions for the following roles:
Karaoke Dreamer (The Musical) by Robert More:
ALISON: (able to play 20's) Girl next door. An excellent singer. Is a walking encyclopedia of music and song. Sample songs sung in the show - On My Own from Les Mis, What's Love Got To Do With It by Tina Turner and I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor.
SHEILA: (able to play 20's) Tough but has a vulnerable side. Has had to work hard for everything in life so far and singing is the only thing that helps her get through it all. Sample songs sung in the show - At Last by Etta James, Hit Me With Your Best Shot by Pat Benetar and Maybe This Time from Cabaret.
JUSTIN: (able to play 20's) From Saskatchewan and a country boy through and through. Good looking and a little full of himself, but in a lovable way. Sample songs sung in the show - Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis, Standing Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks and Anthem from Chess.
TOMMY DASH: (able to play 25-35) MC of the show. Charming and fast on his feet, Tommy is a fantastic host able to handle any situation that can arise on a live show. Tommy joins in the group numbers with songs such as - Rock Around The Clock, Hard Day's Night by The Beatles and 500 Miles by the Proclaimers.
*We are also seeking great local Karaoke singers to be highlighted at each performance and sing one song of their choice (but must be approved by director of the show) for each one of the performances.

A comedy caper about middle-aged friendship and how to make friends with your ex!

Linda's two oldest friends, Trudy and Gail, are worried about her. Ever since her ex-husband, Rob, has become a tech millionaire...well...she's been a serious grump. So they've hatched a plan: break into his cottage and retrieve a gift she feels he ought to have returned when they broke up.

That ought to bring their "old Linda" back, right? Well...

The caper goes off the rails when instead of finding the small Rodin hand sculpture, Linda, discovers a well-stocked wine cooler. Then Rob makes a surprise entrance, interrupting an impromptu pajama party and all hell breaks loose!

THE KITCHEN WITCHES
by Caroline Smith

BCP is ending their season back where they began! Caroline Smith's hilarious comedy was BCP's very first production and they are bringing it back to celebrate 10 years of summer theatre!

Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle are two "mature" cable-access cooking show hostesses, who have hated each other for over thirty years, ever since Larry Biddle dated one and married the other. When circumstances put them together on a TV show called, "The Kitchen Witches", the insults are flung harder than the food! Dolly's long-suffering TV-producer son, Stephen, tries to keep them on track, but as long as Dolly's dressing room is one inch closer to the set than Isobel's, it's a losing battle, and the show becomes a ratings smash as Dolly and Isobel top both Martha Stewart and Jerry Springer!
